NVQ Level 5 Health and Safety Distance Learning

For the majority of health and safety training courses distance learning or online learning is not a good way to learn, which is why we do not offer it for any courses except the shortest such as our manual handling e-learning course. This is because any training course over a couple of days contains so much information that it is exceptionally difficult to understand without the support and guidance of a course tutor, not to mention being able to absorb, take in and remember enough of it to pass the assessments that come at the end of accredited safety qualifications. There is little point in paying all that money do take an expensive health and safety course only to then not be able to pass the exam and actually achieve the qualification!

One such qualification which can be considered as a distance learning course is the NVQ Level 5 in Health and Safety. Rather than a training course which teaches information, an NVQ demands evidence to be submitted which has been obtained by the person whilst they have been doing their usual workplace duties. Whilst this does mean that it is only available to those who are currently in a suitable health and safety job position where they are able to gather the required data, for those that are it is a great alternative to attending a classroom course. Not only do they not need to travel anywhere to attend a course but there is also no chance of them forgetting or misunderstanding taught information which they later require to pass an examination.
