What is the IOSH Managing Safely Course?
The IOSH Managing Safely course is one of the most popular health and safety courses that we offer. It is designed by IOSH as an accredited qualification towards health and safety which lasts 3 years, but can be re-accredited after completing the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher within the 3 year period. The course is aimed at managers and supervisors from any low to medium risk industry within the UK and parts of Europe.
IOSH courses are among the most respected of qualifications, and some of the most popular, with roughly 120,000 people each year undertaking an IOSH training course.
We offer IOSH Managing Safely courses over 3 days either as an open course at various locations across the UK, or as an in house course for your employees.
The IOSH Managing Safely course is designed to be a fun, interactive and knowledgeable course which is made effective through an interactive and colourful PowerPoint presentation, games and quizzes which are all health and safety based and videos which help cement the learning of this subject.
Typical subjects that are covered will be risk assessments, understanding your responsibilities within current health and safety legislation, common hazards within the workplace and accident investigation.
As IOSH Managing Safely courses are accredited qualifications, there is a written and practical assessment that needs to be completed before the end of the course and, if successful, the candidate will attain the IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
